A headline at cnn.com today reads: First Lady Laura Bush to address country about Myanmar deaths
Party differences aside, who gives a fuck? Who, really, gives a shit about what the first lady, any first lady has to say about current events? It reminds me of the Coleman Young quote when the acerbic, profane former mayor of Detroit, visiting with Japanese diplomats in the '80s, said rather loudly to a greeter, "I didn't come here to see the house nigger. Get me the man."
